The following lawyers are rostered to provide legal advice / assistance AT NO COST TO YOU and AT ANY TIME OF THE DAY OR NIGHT on the days they are rostered.

Notes for Police

  • Please contact lawyers from the relevant section of the roster
  • Roster shifts start and finish at 8.00 am and run for 24 hours unless otherwise stated in the Hours section
  • If it is considered a lawyer should attend in person please note their location preferences stated in the Notes section
  • Phone both after hours number and mobile (or vice versa) if calling outside office hours
  • Leave a message with a DDI to enable lawyers to call back


If you cannot contact rostered lawyers from the appropriate part of the roster
  • If you are unable to access lawyers please contact any lawyer from any part of the roster except the Young People and Children section (it is the lawyer's responsibility to ensure that they are the appropriate person to provide advice)
  • Advise any difficulties to contacts below
