If you‘re a victim of an offender named in a notice of payment into the Victims’ Claims Trust Account, you may be entitled to make a claim against the money awarded to the offender.
Notice of end of process for making and determining victims’ claims
This is the current list of offenders that have been awarded compensation - surnames A-E:
A compensation payment has been made to Ryan Terrence Auckram in respect of a specified claim under the Prisoners’ and Victims’ Claims Act 2005 (the Act).
The Act requires that after the Secretary of Justice makes certain deductions from the compensation payment, the surplus remaining goes into the Victims’ Claims Trust Account to enable victims of Ryan Terrence Auckram to make claims against it.
Any money left after any victims’ claims have been paid will be paid to Ryan Terrence Auckram
On 20 June 2024 $2,333 was paid into the Victims’ Claims Trust Account on behalf of Ryan Terrence Auckram
The money paid into the Victims’ Claims Trust Account is held in trust for Ryan Terrence Auckram until it has been paid out in accordance with subpart 2 of Part 2 of the Act.
Any person who has been a victim of Ryan Terrence Auckram, in respect of an offence for which Ryan Terrence Auckram was convicted in a Court of New Zealand, is entitled to make a claim against the money held in the Trust Account on behalf of Ryan Terrence Auckram
Claims by victims are not limited to the amount available in the Trust Account.
