Asha Ali Abdille

TAKE NOTICE that, pursuant to part 2 of the Prisoners’ and Victims’ Claims Act 2005, compensation awarded to Asha Ali Abdille is required to be paid to the Secretary for Justice, and the surplus after deductions is to be held in Trust on behalf of Asha Ali Abdille.

AND THAT on 10 August 2017, $25,000.00 was paid into the Victims’ Claims Trust Account on behalf of Asha Ali Abdille. This money must be held in the Trust Account to enable any victims of Asha Ali Abdille to make claims against it.

ANY PERSON that has been a victim of Asha Ali Abdille in respect of an offence for which Asha Ali Abdille was convicted in a Court of New Zealand, is entitled to make a claim against the money held in the Trust Account on behalf of Asha Ali Abdille. Claims by victims are not limited to the amount available in the Trust Account.

TAKE NOTICE that, pursuant to part 2 of the Prisoners’ and Victims’ Claims Act 2005, compensation awarded to Nicholas Paul Alfred Reekie is required to be paid to the Secretary for Justice, and the surplus after deductions is to be held in Trust on behalf of Nicholas Paul Alfred Reekie.

AND THAT on 10 May 2017, $4,000.00 was paid into the Victims’ Claims Trust Account on behalf of Nicholas Paul Alfred Reekie. This money must be held in the Trust Account to enable any victims of Nicholas Paul Alfred Reekie to make claims against it.

ANY PERSON that has been a victim of Nicholas Paul Alfred Reekie in respect of an offence for which Nicholas Paul Alfred Reekie was convicted in a Court of New Zealand, is entitled to make a claim against the money held in the Trust Account on behalf of Nicholas Paul Alfred Reekie. Toka Inamata

TAKE NOTICE that, pursuant to part 2 of the Prisoners’ and Victims’ Claims Act 2005, compensation awarded to Toka Inamata is required to be paid to the Secretary for Justice, and the surplus after deductions is to be held in Trust on behalf of Toka Inamata.

AND THAT on 19 March 2018, $9,675.14 was paid into the Victims’ Claims Trust Account on behalf of Toka Inamata. This money must be held in the Trust Account to enable any victims of Toka Inamata to make claims against it.

ANY PERSON that has been a victim of Toka Inamata, in respect of an offence for which Toka Inamata was convicted in a Court of New Zealand, is entitled to make a claim against the money held in the Trust Account on behalf of Toka Inamata. Oleg Korobov

TAKE NOTICE that, pursuant to part 2, (subpart2) of the Prisoners’ and Victims’ Claims Act 2005 (“the Act”), compensation awarded to Oleg Korobov was paid to the Secretary for Justice on 2 February 2017, and the surplus, was paid into the Victims’ Claims Trust Account on 14 February 2017 on behalf of Oleg Korobov to enable any victims of that offender to make claims against it.

AND THAT on 16 March 2017, notice was given by publication in the New Zealand Gazette, on 18 March 2017, in the daily newspapers in Auckland, Hamilton, Wellington, Christchurch and Dunedin and on 23 March 2017 on the website of the Ministry of Justice, of the sum of money paid into the Trust Account, and the entitlement of Victims of the offender to claim against this money and the manner to do so.

UNDER section 48(4) of the Act, the Secretary for Justice has now paid out all of the money held in the Trust Account on behalf of Oleg Korobov to the offender.
