Anyone who wants to run a prostitution business must hold a valid brothel operator certificate.
A certificate is valid for 1 year from the date it was issued.
Apply for a brothel operator certificate
If you don’t hold a valid certificate, you could be convicted and fined up to $10,000.
You must show the certificate to the police if they ask to see it.
