Take a step back in history at Auckland High Court this Saturday 10 March as we celebrate the Court’s 150-year anniversary with a public open day.
Recognised as one of Auckland’s architectural gems, the historic Courthouse has been operating on its Waterloo Quadrant site since February 1868.
Events throughout the day will include guided tours of the historic and modern courtrooms and cells; displays and archive news footage of notable cases throughout the years; and a short mock trial loosely based on a notorious 1930’s Auckland murder trial.
When: 10am-4pm, Saturday 10 March 2018
Where: Auckland High Court, 24 Waterloo Quadrant, Corner Waterloo Quadrant & Parliament Street
