Application Area Area 1: Harataunga/Kennedy Bay, being westward of a straight line between a point 1.3 kilometres coastwise north east of Tokangawha Point in the north and Anarake Point in the south and tracking between these two points around the interior of Harataunga at the line of mean high-water springs.

Area 2: Mātaora: between Ōtonga Potin in the north southward along the line of mean high-water springs to the southern boundary of the Part Mataora 4 Block and bounded on the seaward side to a distance of 3.5km.
