This is a message from the Jury Officer of the Rotorua Court.
All 35 jurors who were shortlisted on Monday 7 September 2026, please note you are required to attend on Tuesday 8 September 2026 at 9:30am. Please report directly to courtroom 4 upstairs on the first floor of the Rotorua Courthouse.
*Failure to report for Jury Service may result in the issuing of a fine of up to $1000*
Please allow up to 3 hours for the empanelling process.
If arriving by car, please ensure you have paid for parking up until 1:30 pm. Remember to keep your receipt to claim for reimbursement.
All remaining jurors who were summoned for this week, please note you are not required to attend on Tuesday 8 September 2026, however, please check the jury answerphone and/or website after 6pm for further instructions.
N.B: All jurors will be required to undergo security screening upon entry to the Courthouse. To assist with a smooth entry process, jurors are asked not to bring any items that could be considered a weapon. This includes, but is not limited to, glass bottles, glass perfume bottles, cutlery, pocketknives and similar items.Food and cold drinks (not contained in glass or metal bottles) may be brought into the Courthouse but must not be consumed in the foyer of the Courtrooms. Hot drinks are not permitted.
